Oct 19 - Stuffed animals

First a story:
I had a stuffed animal collection in middle school. I'd spend all my spare money on new stuffed animals. It was the only thing I've ever really collected and I love my collection.

When I went to college I took my stuffed animals with me. My second dorm was a really old building and there was a pipe going through the middle of my room about a 1/2 a foot below the celing. It never got in the way, as the celing was pretty high, but it was an eye sore. So I would put my stuffed animals on top of it. Sort of like it was a shelf. I really wish I'd taken a picture of it because it was cool. People would comment on it and such, and my dad thought it was the funniest thing ever.

When I got married Nathan tried to talk me into getting rid of the stuffed animals, but nothing doing!

Then when we finally got a room for Jared and had a legitimate place to put them! Of course he was never interested in them. Until now..
::end of story::

I'm so tickled that Jared plays with my stuffed animals now! Almost every night before bed I will get some down for him. He touches their faces and snuggles them. It's sooo sweet! Of course today when he was supposed to be taking a nap I heard him giggling and it turns out he was playing with stuffed animals, so that's probably no good. But it's still cute.

Oh, and side note. The picture is all dark and fuzzy because it was taken on a video camera. My nice camera is currently being fixed because I dropped it and broke the lense! :( It could have been a lot worse though, but it's still very sad.

Very, very cute! I am happy to be Jared's great-aunt--you know, the one that great. :) He is one handsome little guy.
