Thanksiving

We had a good Thanksgiving. We spent it at may parents' house. My mom did a great job with the tukey this year! It was probably her best ever. And look, Jared even got to eat some! He didn't get any turkey last year because he was too young.

It was especially fun to see Russell and Casey. They're cute because they still act like newlyweds, being all touchy feeling affectionate. :) We played several games and generally hung out. It was a good visit.
Jared was sick during the holiday. He'd had a cold for a couple days but it turned into croup on Thanksgiving. It was bad timing too, since there weren't any stores open to get medicine. But we were able to borrow a humidifier from the neighbors and that helped a lot.

Casey, my mom, and I went shopping Friday morning for the sales. We left he house at 4am! It was crazy. I got a dvd player, since ours has been broken for about a year and we've been using a playstation. My mom bought almost all her Christmas presents, and Casey hardly bought anything at all. She just wanted to experience Black Friday! We didn't encounter any overly crazed people so that was good, but we did see a car accident that was directly related to trying to get to a store as soon as possible.
