Nice Weather

We've been really lucky and have had wonderful weather in the 70's and 80's for the last three weekends. Some of the weekdays have been rainy and gloomy, but the sun comes out by the weekends, so that's considerate :)

Here's some of the fun stuff we've been doing:

There's a park near our home with an awsome fountain that Jared loves. We've been there three times and he gets so excited about running through the water!

We actually went to another fountain farther away this weekend, but he didn't like it as much as the local close-enough-that-we-can-walk-there one. That's pretty cool!
On Saturday, while I stayed home sick, Nathan went to Eugene to take pictures of OSU for an Oreagon colleges artsy thing he's working on. He took Jared to several parks during the day including the one in this awsome picture!

On Sunday afternoon we couldn't resist taking advantage of the great sunny weather. So we went to yet another park with Jared and grandma. They had lots of fun playing on the slide

And the watermelon was yummy too!

For Memorial day we went to a BBQ put on by one of the families from church. They've done a memorial day BBQ for 8 years in a row now. Wow!It was a great afternoon. Jared got to play in a kiddie pool with some other kids and Nathan and I participated in a horsehoe game. I only got one point the whole time. In fact I barely even made it all the way to the other side of the horsehoe pit, but oh well.
And of course we had some good food! I love BBQs!

Looks like it's going to be a great summer!
