Dress for the wedding

So, my brother Matt is getting married this May. His fiance lives in Texas and that's where the wedding is going to be. The whole family gets to be there. I even get to be a bridesmaid for the first time ever! It should be fun.

This is the dress that Kayla's going to wear, except the ribbon is going to be green. Sometimes it's a bummer that my kids don't have cousins their age, but on the other hand, being the only grand daughter on this side of the family has it's pluses, since she gets such an adorable dress that we probably couldn't afford if we had to buy several.

I talked to Amanda on the phone for almost two hours the other night. She seems really nice and full of life. I think she'll be really good for my brother. In fact, I expect we'll hear from him much more since she wants to be close. That'll be nice. She's even planning on coming to our annual Labor da weekend trip even if he can't come.

Congrats, Matt! And that's cool that his fiancee is so nice. Yea for my future cousin-in-law!

That dress is soooo cute, and I think a green ribbon will make it even more so!

The wedding colors are that brown, a teal, and a lime green. They're supposed to be the colors of a peacock feather.

Amanda likes curves and is very flamboient and apparently Matt said something about her being like a peacock once, so they're going with that as a theme. That's pretty cool.
