Sept 11 - Fire station memorial

I drove passed this today going to the store so I had to stop. They had a flag raising ceremony and some singing and then a pastor spoke about how we should look at the attacks on the twin towers in new york as an attack on Christianity and use it to being out country back to God. It was a nice little ceremony for a solemn day.

In other news; it's my old high school boyfriend's birthday today. 26 I think. He had a little brother who was born on Pearl Harbor day and then he gets Sept. 11th. Interesting. Of course the attack didn't happen til years after we dated, but we used to keep in touch. He just finds it ironic that it happened on his birthday.
