Welcome home Steven!

My youngest brother, Steven, came home from his two-year-mission a week ago Friday! It's so good to have him home! He searved and wonderful and successful mission and was sad to leave it. But he's excited about catching up on what he's missed and getting on with his future.

Nathan and I were able to be at the airport when he first got home. It was emotional and a bit strange to see him again after so long. I think he got a little taller since he's been gone. I was glad to be able to be there. I've been there at the airport when all four of my brothers came home from their missions.
We spent last Saturday hanging out at my parents house. Then Steven and his friend Harrison (came home from mission 2 weeks eariler) came over to our place last Tuesday so see our new place and to hang out with me and Jared. That's when we took the wheat field pictures. :)
This weekend we stayed at my parents' house again so we could hear Steven speak in chruch yesterday. He did a great job of course and had lots of visitors come especially to see him. Russell and Casey also came to see him and it was fun to just hang out with everyone. Casey is so good with Jared. Plus my mom loves playing with him, so I hardly had to entertain him at all this weekend. Steven is bonding nicely with Jared as well. He and Russell both get a kick out of how obsessed with sport balls Jared is. On Saturday evening they were trying to teach Jared how to throw/ catch a football. It was cute. Jared will now saw "uncle teeve" and "uncle ra" and give kisses to everyone. It's sweet.

Steven's going to a local extention of WSU, so he'll still be closeby for a while. That'll be nice.
