The local MOMs club I'm a member of had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. I was really excited to go. I've been wanting an excuse to go to an Easter egg hunt probably ever since I stopped going myself because I was too old. We didn't so one last because Jared was too young. I'm not even sure if he was crawling yet, but he definitely wasn't walking!

Anyway, the hunt was a success! Jared figured out what to do right away. I just gave him his basket and he ran around collecting eggs on his own, just like the other kids. That was good because I was taking pictures of the other kids for the

scrapbook

Today we dyed real eggs. I wasn't going to actually do this because once you dye hard boiled eggs, then you have to eat them, and I don't like eggs! But Nathan said he'd eat them, so we did it!

Jared was kind of freaked out at first and just wanted to watch me. But then after a while I would use to spoon to pull the eggs out of the dye and then say "wow!" to the color and he thought that was cool. So he did that over and over. He's saying "wow" in the picture. Of course he got kind of rough and cracked four of the eggs so now my whole upstairs smells like hard boiled eggs! I'm keeping them until Nathan comes home so he can see them

I'm going to trash them and he can take the rest of the eggs to work in a basket with this first pictute, which I'm printing.
