Family reunion

Over Memorial day weekend we went to Boise, Id for a family reunion. My aunt Peggy and I planned it, I've wanted to do this for years and it was a raging success! I have a lot of awesome cousins! Everyone was so good at pitching in with meals and cleanup! And as far as I heard there was no drama and every one got along well, including all those kids! Besides the general hanging out there were a lot of sweet moments. It was definitely a memorable event!
The last time I was in Boise was 2007 and I got a picture of the three babies at the time. So, I could resist getting an comparision picture of how they've grown since then.
On the last day Nathan and I did some photo shoots. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the hundreds we took!

I suggested this pose for this couple and Wendy was making fun of it foe being an engagement pose. So here is she showing off her ring. I thought it was pretty funny.

The kid in the middle, Derrek, was getting ready to go on his mission. (In fact, he's gone now). So it was great to get some pictures of his siblings/ family all together before he left. Also, these kids were so good about playing with the little kids over the weekend. I caught them several times being the "fun big kids."

The Lemons were such a fun family! I spent a lot of time over the weekend chatting with Marybeth and enjoy every minute of it.
And I thought little Lincoln was just sooo adorable! We took an usual amount of pictures of him!

Here are the four original siblings, 11 out of 18 cousins and spouces.
And the big group, color coded by families. We shouldn't have let the dark blue and black be by each other. But of well. It's a good looking group of 64 people!

That was truly a rockin' awesome reunion. You made Grandma and Grandpa (and me, if that counts for anything) proud for all your hard work, organization, and diligence in gathering so many people together.

PS- What a coincidence! I love that picture (the one of all the kids in gray mauling their dad), too!

hmmm, it might make a good father's day present somehow.. Want me to put a caption on it and send it to you again? It's getting a little late though..

Sarah,
I haven't stopped long enough to write to you, but I truly believe you did an awesome job putting together this reunion. Even today, Sara G. said "That reunion was so fun!" I have heard nothing but positive, positive, positive comments about the whole thing. Thanks so much for making it happen. And if I do say so myself, WE ARE AN AWESOME FAMILY!!!!
