June 13 - Shower baby

Someday Jared will grow up to be a teenager. He’ll be stoic and untalkative and engrossed in his our life. And I’ll want so much to be involved in what he’s doing and for him to talk to me, but he wont. And that’ll be sad.

But for now he’s a baby. A dependent, needy baby, who wants me all the time, even when I’m trying to take a shower!

Now that he’s crawling much better and wants to stand all the time Jared is not content with the toys I give him when I take a shower. No, instead he crawls over to the shower, stands up, and pulls the curtain back to he can whine to me to pick him up. Today he pulled it way back and got himself all wet. It looked so pathetic I had to get it on camera!

PS. I like this picture a lot! I think it may end up in his baby book for his 11th month. That's an honer. Only five pictures make that cut :)
