June 27 - Cute Jared stuff

So, two days ago when I was writing up the milestones Jared had for his 11th month I looked up typical milestones or his age. One of them was Says "mama" and "dada" to the correct parent. I thought, "nah, he's not doing that" so I didn't add it. But over the two days since I've been thinking about it and perhaps he has figured that out..

He says "bababa, or wah-wah-wah, or dadadada and mamamama" all the time now. But I noticed that he seems to only say "mamama" when he wants something from me. Like to pick him up or something. So maybe he is associating that sound with me.

More "talking":

Yesterday we were walking up the stairs toward where the dog was and I could have swore Jared said "dog."

This morning he said "da?" with a question sound while he was looking at Nathan. Nathan said "yes?" It was so cute.

Then today he slipped and hit his arm and the sound he made sounded suspiciously like "ow"

The picture doesn't have anything to do with talking, because how do you take a picture of that. But it's of him climbing the stairs, which is something he gets really excited about these days
