June 14 - City in the summer

Two pictures today.

Today we went to Tigard (where we used to live) for the balloon festival (hot air balloons) and to visit people we used to know. I had a nice long visit while Nathan took the dogs (Toby and Nathan's sister's dog Twix, who we are currently dog sitting) to the dog park. Toby totally misses that dog park! He got excited when we turned on the road.

Then we went to the balloon festival. Unfortunately the balloons were not there! Perhaps they were in the air way far away that we couldn't see. Or there was a rumor about there being too much wind for the balloons. So that was a bummer. So we just hung out at the park. Here's Jared chillin' at the park with his cool sunglasses.

We also got some pictures of the city of Portland, which Nathan has been wanting to do on a clear day. And you can't get a whole lot than the weather today. Sunny and warm, but not too hot!
